How To Prepare the Juicy Burger
It takes up to fifteen minutes to prepare the burger, including the chilling period, and forty five minutes to cook.
Fill a saucepan with cold water and the lentils in it, then boil in a low simmer. Skim all foams off and cook for fifteen minutes. When it is soft, rinse it, drain it and allow it to get cool.
In a nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil. Soften the onion by cooking it on a medium heat. Then put the mushrooms and the oil left, to dry off all the moisture in the pan. This should take about fifteen minutes. Add the parsley, thyme, and garlic and cook until the aroma of the garlic fills the air. Then add the balsamic vinegar before you turn the heat off.
In a food processor’s bowl, put the bread crumbs, nutritional yeast, and cooled lentils with some pepper and salt. Pulse it until it develops a fine texture and is properly mixed.
Leave it for five minutes to cool down, before shaping it into four equal patties. Cover it and let it chill and become firm for about 30 minutes.
Then finally, wipe the skillet clean, heat some oil and let both sides of the burgers cook in it until it is brown over medium heat. You can now serve your juicy burger with whatever you like! Enjoy!
