Jourdan Dunn
The 6’0 British — practically amazonian — model Jourdan Dunn has quite the story. With her impressive stature, she was often told that she should model, though she found the job somewhat intimidating.
The model was eventually discovered in a Primark (a British clothing store) in 2006, at 15 years old. Less than a year later she was appearing all over international runways. A few years later, she gave birth to a son, Riley, when she was just 19.
Keisha Castle-Hughes
Ever seen the film "Whale Rider"? Or have you seen "Game of Thrones" perhaps? Well, if you’ve seen either of those, you’d recognize the face of Keisha Castle-Hughes. The Australian actress was the youngest Oscar nominee for the above film.
Ironically, it was at the time that she was cast as the Virgin Mary that she became pregnant in the real world! She gave birth at sixteen, months shy of her seventeenth birthday. She and her baby's father remained a couple for seven years, before splitting up in 2010.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Okay not to throw shade, but there is definitely more work that has been done to this Real Housewives star. Kim Zolciak-Biermann is, of course, known for being on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," but she has some secrets that we’re sure producers would love to know — like, the name of her firstborn’s father.
Brielle, Kim’s oldest, was born in 1997. At the time, Kim was just eighteen, and, as we said, the daddy's identity remains a secret.
Brian Jones
Member of the renowned British rock band, The Rolling Stones, is the next young parent on our list. Brian Jones became a father when he was just seventeen, three years before the band was actually formed.
At the time, the founding member was still in high school and got his girlfriend at the time, Valerie Corbett, pregnant.
Naomi Judd
Born in Kentucky, Judd, whose initial name was actually Diana, is a reputable country star. She found out that she was pregnant when she was just seventeen, giving birth two weeks shy of her high school graduation!
Wynonna was her first daughter, before welcoming Ashley Judd. She later became a Country Music Hall of Fame member! She sadly passed away in 2022.
Lil Wayne
Talk about a pocket rocket that started off fatherhood at an early age! The rapper, who grew up in the impoverished area called 17th Ward in New Orleans, is now a serious name in the industry.
At 5’5 and covered in tattoos, Wayne has made a name for himself. What about becoming a dad? The rapper was just 16 when he first became a father to daughter Reginae Carter.
Roseanne Barr
The star of the eponymous show, Roseanne is, of course, none other than Roseanne Barr. The show, which rose to household name status during the eighties and nineties catapulted the stand-up comic to fame.
Before she could even think about having her own show, the comedian was a mother. Barr gave birth to her first child in 1970, at the tender age of seventeen. It was during the time in which she was hospitalized, after suffering brain damage from a car accident, which she got pregnant. Crazy story!
Anna Nicole Smith
Gee, this is a really sad story. Anna Nicole Smith is, of course, famous for her looks and body — yes, she was the Playboy magazine 1993 Playmate of the Year, as some of you might remember.
Did you know that she had a son who tragically passed away just a year before she passed away herself? Anna Nicole Smith had him in Mexia Texas when she was just nineteen years old. Sadly, in 2006, he had to meet his untimely passing.
Shirley Temple
The tap-dancing, super cute, curly-haired child actor Shirley Temple was a bit of an icon in the old days of Hollywood. She was on prime time in the 1930s, and yes, that drink you hear your aunt order is in fact named after the actress.
As was fashionable at the time, Temple married when she was very young — just seventeen. Two years later, she and John Agar had their first baby together.
Tom Jones
The Welsh crooner certainly is famous not only for his voice but also for the number of panties that get thrown at the stage when he performs! So it really is no wonder that the singer became a father at a young age.
He was just sixteen when he first experienced what it means to be a father. He was already married at the time and worked a few jobs to make ends meet. This was also when he started singing in pubs. From there, the rest is history.
Kehlani
Another young mom on our list is none other than singer Kehlani. The performer and singer gave birth to her first baby, a girl named Adeya, with guitarist Javie.
They decided to do a home birth (without any medication), which she took to social media to tell everyone that her body was “powerful.” Well yeah, look at those abs! And hey, the singer now says that she feels better than ever in her post-bub body.
Candace Cameron-Bure
If you weren’t living under a rock in the eighties and nineties, you’d definitely remember the famous sitcom, "Full House." And of course, from the show, you’d remember Candace Cameron-Bure. She played D.J. Tanner on the show, and then on the Netflix sequels series, "Fuller House."
You may not have known that she became a mom relatively early on, giving birth to her first child at the age of 22. Since 1998, she’s gone on to have two other children.

Imagine being nineteen — or at least, remember what nineteen was like — what were you thinking about? Probably not kids! But basketball superstar LeBron James was waiting at the hospital like any first-time dad, waiting for his son, Bronny to come into the world.
At the time, James was going into his first rookie season — talk about a double whammy! And again, when he was almost twenty-two, he and his now-wife Savannah (also his high school sweetheart), the pair welcomed their second baby boy, Bryce.
Kate Hudson
We actually were shocked when we realized that Kate Hudson is a mom of four! Her eldest, Ryder, was brought into the world when she was twenty-five years old. Her other kids are all born to different fathers.
She had her first baby, Ryder, when she was married to rocker, Chris Robinson. She then went on to get engaged to Muse’s Matt Bellamy, before being engaged to Danny Fujikawa (her most recent man.)
Aaron Taylor-Johnson
The Marvel star, who had a relatively short run and a quick exit as far as Marvel superheroes go, is actually already used to being something of a superhero, though not to the world, rather to his kid, Wylda, who was born when Taylor-Johnson was just twenty.
The English actor had the baby (followed by a second daughter) with film director Sam Taylor-Johnson. Sam has two daughters from a previous marriage, so when you think about that plus the fact that the two met when Aaron was only 18, you'd get the youngest stepfather on this list!

There’s just something about British rockers and becoming young fathers, eh? Maybe it was the sixties, or it was the carefree age and carefree thought of what happens when you engage in er..unprotected…bedroom activities.

The model and musician definitely started off a lot of things from a young age — from this modeling career at 12, after being spotted at the age of 10, to becoming a father early on!
The blonde-haired, blue-eyed American fashion model welcomed a child in 2017, Gravity Blue Smith, when he was just nineteen years old. He had this baby with his first girlfriend, before moving on, marrying his now-wife, Nara, and having baby Rumble. Try to keep up.
Will Smith
Will Smith is probably one of Hollywood’s most beloved actors — but he’s also got quite a following as a celebrity father. I mean, who wouldn’t want Mr. Smith as their dad? Seems like the coolest dude around.
Anyway, Smith has a child from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino, called Trey. He came into the world in 1992, when Smith was 24 years old. He then, of course, went on to father kids with Jada Pinkett.
Oprah Winfrey
The billionaire (yes, billionaire — did you know Oprah is worth over $2.6 billion?) and talk-show host actually has a relatively sad story about her young-age motherhood.
It’s no secret that Winfrey grew up in rural poverty, and has a stunning rags-to-riches story. Winfrey was attacked as a teenager (she was just 14) by a family member and gave birth to a son. The baby died just two weeks after he was born, making the experience even more traumatic. Winfrey has remarked that this gave her a chance to start anew.
Bindi Irwin
Daughter of famous Australian personality and conservationist, Steve Irwin, is none other than Bindi Irwin. She also went on to follow in her father’s footsteps, becoming a zookeeper and TV personality herself.
She’s been on the screen since she was just a tot, and welcomed one of her own at the age of 23. Sure, that age seems almost mature to have a baby compared to some of the other celebs in this article, but she makes our list all the same!
Loretta Lynn
Imagine having four kids all before the age of twenty. That’s literally four under four in four years. Yowza! Loretta Lyn, the famed country music singer with a career that spans six decades, married Oliver Lynn just before her sixteenth birthday in 1948.
Sure, sounds like a busy life — managing four kids and a burgeoning career, but on the other hand, you’d be done with having babies early on.
David Beckham
There’s just something about Becks, isn’t there? The ultra-famous former pro footballer, David Beckham, was definitely hot property for a long time before being snatched up (to be fair, Posh Spice is a babe!) and married to Victoria.
The pair married in 1999 and welcomed a child soon after when Beckham was just twenty-three years old.
Maya Angelou
A rare person in our world is a poet like Maya Angelou. Her words and wisdom were years beyond her, and we thank her for that. The civil rights activist and poet is famous for her prose but most people don't know much about her family tree. She also joins our list as a young mom.
Angelou gave birth for the first time at seventeen, just after she finished high school. After she had her son, she went to work as a singer, dancer, and actress, before finally taking up the post of writing.

The ‘Candy Shop’ rapper, among other famous tracks, who actually goes by the name Curtis Jackson, is a father of two.
Do you know how old he was when he first welcomed a child into the world? To answer your question (it’s okay if you weren’t wondering), he was twenty-two. It was the year 1997 when the NYC-born rapper first met his son, Marquise Jackson.

Ah Whoopi, what a fabulous actress! The comedian and actress is really one of those actors in a league of their own, wouldn’t you agree?
Still, you may not know that Whoopi Goldberg actually has an adult daughter! When she was eighteen, she gave birth to her daughter Alex with her first husband, Alvin Martin, back in the early 1970s.
Bristol Palin
The daughter of Sarah Palin (remember her?) is Bristol, who makes our list as a teen mom! The mother of three and former “Dancing With The Stars” contestant first became a mom when she was still a teenager.
At just nineteen, Bristol Palin gave birth to her son Tripp, with her partner Levi Johnston. As a result of her teen pregnancy, Palin signed up for a reality TV series, “Life’s a Tripp” — ha!

If you’re into hip-hop and rap, or popular music at all for that matter, you would’ve heard of the rapper, T.I. He makes our list as a rather young baby-daddy, welcoming his first child with Lashon Dixon in 2000 at 20 years old.
If you check the rapper’s Instagram, he reminisces about where he was the time his son was born, noting that at the time he was "trapping" (it's street slang, look it up), working on his first album, and “on my way to greatness by the time you were born.” What a story, eh?
Solange Knowles
So first off we’d like to acknowledge Solange as her own woman with her own identity. Sure, her sister is a megastar, but have you heard Solange’s music? It’s incredible!
The musician makes our list because she had a surprise pregnancy when she was 17. Well, maybe it wasn’t a surprise because she did in fact get married very young — at seventeen! She gave birth to her son, whom she says is “the greatest unplanned blessing” in her life. While she is no longer married to the father, she still has her blessed boy with her.
Taylor Hanson
Remember that super-catchy tune that we all thought was a one-hit-wonder that went “mmm…bop!”? Yeah so, one of the members of the boyband, Hanson, is exactly who Taylor Hanson is!
The middle Hanson, at the age of just nineteen, was welcomed into fatherhood. He and his wife (to whom he is still married and now shares seven kids), Natalie, welcomed their first bundle of joy, Jordan, when they were teens.
Farrah Abraham
Perhaps one of the least known on this list, former cheerleader Farrah Abraham makes our list of young celeb parents. She was one of the first people to appear on the MTV show "16 and Pregnant" back in 2009! She then continued to work the reality TV shows by being on four seasons of "Teen Mom."
The cheerleader became pregnant with her high school boyfriend, who tragically died in a car accident when she was around eight months pregnant. Really sad.
Suzanne Somers
This lovely lady, the late Suzanne Somers, was just nineteen when she gave birth to her first baby! Giving birth to her son, Bruce Jr., in 1965, Somers, who was an actress, author, singer, businesswoman, AND health spokesperson, started off early!
Still, while she started early, she didn’t actually have any more children. Decades later, she made headlines posing for a racy photoshoot to celebrate her 75th birthday! What a way to welcome another year! Sadly though, she passed away in 2023.
Reese Witherspoon
Witherspoon’s name is basically a household one — America’s sweetheart and one of our favorite actors! The actress is easily recognizable — as is her daughter, who was born when Reese was just 23.
Sure, she wasn't a teenager anymore, and 23 isn’t an absurd age to have a baby (though most 23-year-olds might beg to differ), but it’s still relatively young. Her daughter, Ava, whom she had with ex-husband Ryan Philippe, is the spitting image of her mother!
Kylie Jenner
The Kardashian-Jenner clan are certainly not short of making headlines, but there was another shocking one to add to the list! The young Jenner made headlines when TMZ announced that the then 20-year-old was expecting her first child.
Some of you may remember that Jenner had Stormi Webster with rapper Travis Scott. The reality star was pregnant while she was just a teen, before then giving birth later on. Her second pregnancy was announced in November 2021.
Charlie Sheen
It’s no surprise that Charlie Sheen has a few kids, and you might have heard over the years about his custody issues with ex-wife Denise Richards. The reason Sheen makes our list, though, is because he was in fact a younger man (read: a much younger man) when he became a father for the very first time.

The next spot on our list goes to a twenty-four-year-old father. We basically consider anyone under twenty-five to be a young celebrity parent for the first time.
Anywho, Louis Tomlinson, who, you may remember from British boyband One Direction, welcomed his first bub in 2016, when he was just 24! In a tragic twist, he lost his mother shortly before his baby Freddie was born.
Liam Payne
Before we tell you how old Liam Payne was when he became a father for the first time, can we just say that we’re absolutely shocked that it’s been a decade since One Direction’s first album? Where in the world did the years go? Anyway, Liam Payne, of the English boyband, became a father in 2017, when he was just twenty-four years old.
He welcomed the child into the world with none other than X-Factor judge, Cheryl Cole.
Ashlee Simpson
Born in Waco, Texas, Ashlee Simpson is best known as the sister of Jessica Simpson. At the time her sister was popular, Ashlee was on the radar, and seemed as though she’d be the next big thing in pop. We can’t believe her 30th birthday was so long ago!
She had her first baby, Bronx Wentz, with Fall Out Boy member Pete Wentz, in 2008. Ashlee was just shy of her 24th birthday — not a teenager, but still pretty young.
John Lennon
Now John Lennon, the famed Beatle, is well known for his highly documented relationship with Yoko Ono — but first, did y’all know that the two started their relationship when John was still married to someone else? It was a lady called Cynthia Powell, with whom he had his first child, Julian, in 1963.
At the time, Lennon was just twenty-two years of age. He then, of course, fathered another child with Ono, a son, Sean.
Hilary Duff
There’s just something so sweet about Hilary Duff, don’t you agree? The teenage star was one of the few to transition really nicely into adulthood, and it’s probably thanks to her being well-grounded as a person.
No longer the Disney kid she once was, Duff makes our list due to her first baby being born when she was just twenty-five. Sure, she’s on the cusp of our cut-off but that totally counts in our book. She was married to her first husband at the time.
James Rodriguez
The Colombian footballer who plays as a midfielder/winger for Al-Rayyan has some very talented feet. The man has two children, but did you know the proclaimed “party beast” became a father relatively early on in the piece?
He was just twenty-two years old when he welcomed into the world his daughter Salomé, with his then-wife Daniela Ospina. The pair have since split up, and now he’s dating Shannon De Lima, who was previously married to Marc Anthony.
Sofia Vergara
Whether you know her as Gloria, the gorgeous and wonderfully outspoken Colombian second wife of Jay in Modern family, or if you know her from commercials or social media, there’s no doubt Vergara is quite a woman! Many people know of her son, Manolo, whom she gave birth to when she was just nineteen years old.
The stunning Colombian only has that one son — though many fans would love to see her and her hunky husband Joe Manganiello have a kid together (just imagine the potential of that gene pool!).

If you’ve seen the film "Respect" which stars songstress Jennifer Hudson, you’ll know that the famous diva she was portraying, Aretha Franklin, became a mother at a very, very young age. A victim of an attack, Franklin gave birth to her first child at the age of fourteen. She then went on to have a second child at sixteen.
She wouldn’t release her first single until she was eighteen, and it wasn’t really until she was in her twenties that she began to be recognized for her incredible voice.
Neymar Jr
Brazilian professional footballer Neymar Jr is probably one of the greatest players of this generation. When he reached twenty-nine years old, he earned a salary of $36.8 million euros! Crazy, right? But we’re not here to discuss salaries (even when they’re that insane), rather, we’re here to discuss young parents.
Davi Lucca, Neymar’s son, was born in 2011 when Neymar was just nineteen. When you think about that, Neymar’s career was just taking off!
Natalia Vodianova
Vodianova, nicknamed “Supernova” is a renowned Russian supermodel and UN ambassador. Did you know she became a parent when she was young and walking runways? She was just twenty-four when she first gave birth, to daughter Neva Portman.
This was during her marriage to Justin Portman, to whom she was married for a decade. Since then, she has remarried and is now with none other than Antoine Arnault, the son of Bernard Arnault, who’s the $201.1 billion chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy.
Jamie Lynn Spears
Not to be confused with Britney's father, Jamie, this one is Britney’s little sister, Jamie Lynn. At the time, the younger Spears was gaining fame as Zoey on "Zoey 101," before headlines shocked Americans that she was pregnant at sixteen.
Sadly, the media backlash was intense, with many people saying she was a bad example for young fans. As a result, her time on the kids' channels had to be cut short. Very short.
Brandy Norwood
Did y’all know that Brandy Norwood’s brother is Ray J? Yeah, we had no idea that Brandy was related to him either. Naw, if things had worked out between him and Kim, she would’ve been an aunty!
The singer was pregnant when she was twenty-two, giving birth to her daughter, Sy’Rai, who is all grown up now. Cool name in our opinion. Sy’Rai has no younger siblings.

What a voice! We still remember the days when she was a young star on American Idol. Those were the days. The now singer-songwriter and actress was actually a mother from a young age.
After a rough time in high school, the singer gave birth to a baby with her boyfriend at the time when she was just seventeen. Sure, life would’ve been very difficult, but what a journey she’s been on, to where she is today — an independent woman with a substantial, Grammy-winning career!
Elizabeth Taylor
The violet-eyed beauty and star of the screen, Elizabeth Taylor is forever remembered as one of the most beautiful actresses of her time.
In 1957, the actress was married to her third husband, Michael Todd, when she first welcomed a child into the world. Their daughter, Liza Todd, was born when Taylor was 25-years-old. But can we just look at the fact she was already onto husband number three at that age? Whew!
Gigi Hadid
The supermodel and face of this gen’s fashion runways, Gigi Hadid, is definitely passing on awesome genes to some lucky kid! In Hadid’s case, it’s to her daughter, Khai, whom she had with her now-ex partner, Zayn Malik of the UK boyband, One Direction.
Sadly, the baby's parents announced their separation not long after she turned one. The drama rocked the family but we hope it won't affect badly on the bub too.
