Velvick was a professional bass fisherman when he started the show but retired in 2016. Even though his 15 minutes of fame are long gone, Byron still manages to appear on the occasional fishing TV show as a guest and bass fishing expert. He currently owns a beautiful resort in Del Rio, Texas, where he currently lives.
In 2015, Velvick married Belinda Juarez, a woman with whom he actually took the next step. The two have a daughter together, Kamber. Sadly, though, their marriage didn’t last and they parted ways in 2020.
Now: Jessica Bowlin
Jessica retired into a more quiet life and disappeared from public view after breaking up with Palmer. But that didn't mean she didn't go on to have a successful career and a happy family.
After passing the California State Bar exam in 2007, Bowlin became a lawyer, based in LA. And career isn't the only thing making Jessica smile. She got married to the handsome guy above and went on to have two cute kids. Well done, girl!
The Bachelor, Season 6: Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado
This season of "The Bachelor" ended on a slightly happier note, with the couple being the first to actually stay together for a decent period after the show ended. Byron proposed to Delgado and they stayed together for 5 years! So what happened? Why did they end up like so many other reality TV couples?
Turns out that, even though they stayed together for the longest time, compared to other bachelor couples, it was rumored that these two had a very rocky relationship. Delgado even got arrested once, after getting into a very physical fight with Velvick. Two years later, the couple called it quits.
Now: Mary Delgado
A wild girl, Mary had several issues with the law in the years following "The Bachelor." But fortunately, the now Tampa resident, got her act together and went on to start her own business — The Mary Delgado Health and Fitness Channel on YouTube. Guess she found out a good way to channel that craziness!
As for her love life? Well, she also had a happy ending in that department. Delgado got married in 2015 and, apart from her health and fitness channel, she works as a successful real estate agent in Florida.
The Bachelor, Season 7: Charlie O'Connell and Sarah Brice
Charlie O'Connell had already enjoyed big-screen fame with his appearances in "Sliders" and "Dude, Where's My Car?". But we all got to fall in love with this handsome actor all over again when appeared for the Bachelor's seventh season. Charlie chose Sarah Brice, and the two went on to be engaged for two years.
Unfortunately, they broke up in 2007, supposedly because of O'Connell's heavy drinking. But that wasn't the end of it. They would get back together and split up again! Finally, the couple decided to split up for good in 2010. We can't blame them for trying, right?
