Paul Simonon and Steve Jones
Paul Simonon of the Clash and Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols rode motorcycles together in 1987. They are both looking pretty hardcore in their Harleys and leather jackets.
Apparently, these two liked to take motorcycling trips together to the Mojave desert. How we wish we could join!
Fats Domino
Antoine Dominique, also known as "Fats" Domino, was a famous American pianist and singer-songwriter. He was one of the pioneers of rock and roll music, a rhythm-and-blues star who helped define the New Orleans sound.
Between 1955 and 1960, he had eleven Top 10 hits, and Domino sold more than 65 million records. His humility and shyness may be one reason his contribution to the genre has been overlooked. Here he is on a Dax Honda motorbike in France in 1980.
The Jackson Family
Here is Michael Jackson rocking his Honda mini-bike as he posed with the rest of the Jackson family at their home in California in 1971. These mini-bikes can travel up to 65 mph, not bad for such a small bike!
Way back when this photo was taken, the Jackson Five were at the height of their fame, having just released "I Want You Back" in 1970, it went on to top the Billboard Hot 100.
Josh Brolin
Despite being born to successful film actor James Brolin, Josh's childhood in provincial Templeton, California, kept him separated from the Hollywood experience. But by the time he was a teen, however, Brolin had begun his own acting career, and we now know him from his many leading roles, from "The Goonies" to "Guardians of the Galaxy," where he played Thanos.
Here we have a picture of Josh Brolin when he attended a motorcycle ride to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association in 1988.
Elvis Presley
Along with being a key figure in Rock and Roll, the world's most recognizable entertainer, an actor, and the man who put peanut butter and banana sandwiches on the map, Elvis was a huge gearhead, so naturally, he loved motorcycles and had a pretty impressive personal collection.
Here he is on the set of "Clambake" in 1976, riding a classic Harley Davidson. His preference was always for a Harley FLH touring bike, but he also dabbled in Triumphs, Hondas, and even 70s-era VW-powered trikes over the years.
