Zurich, Switzerland: Modissa Rooftop Restaurant
The Modissa Rooftop Bar is located on the sixth floor of Modissa’s Flagship Store. The bar provides a full gastronomic experience complete with a beautiful view of the city below you. The menu offers Asian and American dishes, desserts, and special cocktails unlike any other. You’ll be glad to hear that even if you got to the place when it’s full or closed, you can still try some of the dishes. How you may ask? The place had a secondary entrance through which their yummy food is sold.
Dubrovnik, Croatia: Buža Bar
Calling this place a bar would be an overstatement, as it is basically a hole in the wall which serves drinks. Still, it has a major cool factor, mostly thanks to that fact. The Buža Bar hole is located on a cliffside, overlooking the ocean, which makes for an unforgettable experience and also allows you to take a swig of your favorite drink right before jumping in the water or working on your tan!
Barcelona, Spain: Terrat
Terrat, the rooftop restaurant, is probably the best spot in Barcelona to watch the sunset. It is located on the very top floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, which gives its diners the best view of the beautiful historical city. The place serves Peruvian-style dishes and drinks made by the Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio. Other than the 360 degrees vantage point you get on the city, the rooftop also has a dipping pool you can enjoy, so don’t forget your bathing suit!
Lisbon, Portugal: Sky Bar
The one thing that beats dinner in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, is having that dinner on a rooftop overlooking the city. This is exactly what you get if you visit the Sky Bar in Lisbon. This lovely restaurant serves drinks, cocktails, and tapas on the ninth floor of the Tivoli hotel. Located on Avenida de Liberdade, one of the most bustling streets in the city, the view from the Sky Bar rooftop is unmatched.
