The queen of green and legendary supermodel, Gisele Bündchen recently gave Marie Claire Magazine an in-depth account of her love for the planet and how it impacts her healthy lifestyle. When it comes to her diet, Bündchen makes sure to keep it strictly organic.
According to the supermodel, her and hubby, Tom Brady, they really try to get things that are in season and grown locally. That guarantees maximum freshness.
Of course, the two maintain mostly a plant-based diet, occasionally straying away for the occasional meaty treat. The Brazillian beauty admits that she also occasionally indulges in a cheat day by treating herself to some dark chocolate- her one weakness!
As for exercise, the 39- year old said that she loves to be at her most active in the early mornings, outside. Activities like horseback riding, biking, and skiing, are her favorites as these sports allow her to work out and connect with nature at the same time.
Another new hobby she has picked up on that is enhancing her well-being is meditation. With the Pranayama breathing (a meditative practice of breath control) she has managed to find mental clarity.
