Steve Carrell | $50 million
People might identify Steve Carrell as a talented comedian with a 50$ net worth, but he is just as obsessed with Target as the rest of us common folk. He says he can’t go inside the store without buying something. Leave some for us, Steve! And what does he love to buy in his favorite store? Cargo pants, of course. He calls the pants “comfy but uncool.”
During his time as a star, we believe he has done enough cool things to be able to be comfortable every now and then. Cargo shorts are about as far away as can be from those nice, tailored suits he got to wear on the Daily Show or when he played Michal Scott in The Office and cracked us all up.
Moshe Kasher | $1-5 million
Funnyman Moshe Kasher has been bringing the funny to anything and everything he has been doing in his career. As a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer, he never fails to make other people laugh. His sense of humor is anything but to be expected when you learn the hardships he had to endure as a child, such as a four-year-long period of substance abuse which started at the age of 12! Now pick your jaws off the floor and go read about it in his memoir.
Kasher's life has been a true Cinderella story. Growing up with two deaf parents had him working as a sign language interpreter since he was 17 years old. He later attended college, earned a degree in religious studies, and finally found stand up comedy at an open-mic night in 2001. From there, he worked hard to make a name for himself as a successful comedian, actor, and writer with a net worth of $1-5 million. What an inspiration.
Terry Crews | $20 million
As a defensive end for Western Michigan, Terry Crews earned All-Conference honors and won a MAC conference championship. The Los Angeles Rams selected Crews in the 11th round of the 1991 NFL draft. He played with the Rams, Chargers, and Redskins before stepping away from football in 1997. He would have had a great career in football if he hadn't turned to a career in acting and comedy.
After the NFL, Crews followed his true love of acting and blossomed into a TV and film superstar. He’s come a long way from his breakout role in Friday After Next to the critically acclaimed Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Crews’ celebrity status has reached such incredible heights that TIME named him the 2017 Person of the Year. His net worth of $20 million is definitely well deserved. Not that he needs us to reaffirm that.
Andy Samberg | $16 million
Those of you who don't know who Andy Samberg is should probably go to their rooms and think about what they did, but we don't believe in that form of education so here's some info. Andy Samberg was invested in comedy from a very young age. He recalls watching Saturday Night Live as a kid and being deeply influenced by it. Years later, Samberg joined the show as a writer and as an actor.
Samberg has studied filmmaking and been involved in numerous movies and TV shows, most notably, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Among his many accolades there are an Emmy and a Golden Globe, but we believe that a $16 million net worth is enough of an accolade as it is.
Chelsea Peretti | $3 million
Chelsea Peretti has many hats. She is a comedian, actress, writer, musician, and more. But for some of us, she will always be Gina Linetti, the self-absorbed, can't-be-bothered secretary from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Her first steps in media were actually done as a writer for various newspapers and magazines.
Peretti later started acting and even moved to Los Angeles to do it. She appeared in TV shows such as Parks and Recreation, The Sarah Silverman Program, and Louie. In 2013 she was cast for Brooklyn Nine-Nine and gave us one of the best characters on TV. Peretti's net worth is $3 million but if we asked Gina she would probably say it's more than that.
