John Stewart’s comedy career started in New York City where he performed at the Bitter End and Comedy Cellar. In the late 90’s he started hosting The Daily Show, and at that time he was making $16 million a year. He also can be seen in a few films including Half Baked, Big Daddy, The Nanny, and more. In addition, he had hosted the Grammy Awards in 2001 and 2002 as well as the 78th and 80th Academy Awards.
On top of all that, he has co-authored two books based around politics and signed a four-year deal with HBO in 2015 which will include exclusive original digital content for the network. This comedian and political satirist has a net worth of $80 million.
Jay Leno | $350 million
Jay Leno is one of those stand-up comedians and actors who made it really big without an agent. He’s managed to generate quite the income throughout his life, and his current net worth is $350 million. We wouldn’t even know what to do with all that money!
By the end of his hosting career on The Tonight Show, he was making $15 million a year, after taking a 50% salary cut. Today, he still performs stand-up, touring the country and having around 200 gigs a year. This guy is unstoppable.

Meet the two guys who are the intelligent masterminds behind the incredible television series, South Park. We’ll say what you’re thinking, the show definitely says too many dirty lines/words for us to repeat on the internet, but apparently it works. The show started back in the late 90’s and is still in production today.
The two of them and the show have been the topic of conversation throughout the time the show has been airing. They have also jumped into the world of film, theater, and video games.

Kevin Hart, as you may have already assumed, is one of the highest-paid comedians in the world. He took a step into the comedy scene after appearing on Comedy Central specials, such as I’m a Grown Little Man, and Seriously Funny. Since then, he has made a name for himself by scoring roles in movies and television shows that have flown off the charts.
A few of those films are Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, Soul Plane, In the Mix, and Little Fockers. He has also had a stint in the reality television scene on the show Real Husbands of Hollywood.

Seth MacFarlane, who is not only the voice of Ted in both movies but also the creator of Family Guy, is sitting on a nice $300 million dollars, which are very well deserved.
Prior to all of this, he was an animator and writer for animated shows, such as Johnny Bravo, Dexter’s Laboratory and Cow and Chicken. Family Guy is so well-known, that it has become a piece of American culture.
