The Tree of God
If there were such a thing as an adult-only nature magazine, this would probably be on the front page. It has it all. It’s cheeky, it’s glamorous, and it has no filters or Photoshop touches at all. It could also be a great cover for some sort of religious book, trying to convince you to go back to your roots. Are they referring to the tree’s roots?
Anyhow, this phenomenal photograph creation was taken at a perfect moment when the rays of sun picked from between the tree’s branches. It didnt need more than one iPhone, perfect timing, and the ability to predict the future and see a few seconds ahead. Superb.
The Greatest Great Dane of All Time
This monstrous canine that's fed on a hearty diet of 2 pounds of ground beef daily, casserole steak, liver, and the odd chunk of sofa sponge measures 40.75 inches in length. Freddy, as he is named, resides in Essex, England, and lives with his owner Clair Stoneman. She told the Telegraph that he has destroyed a number of couches, 26 to be exact.
Freddy is also now, at least according to the Guinness World Record, bigger than Zeus as of the year 2017. He is now seven years old. And we imagine that at least a handful of other sofas will get destroyed before everything is said and done.
A Rare Giant Squid
Look, we understand that the bigger the fish you catch, the more impressive it is - but this is taking things way too far, in our humblest opinion. This photo was taken in the Ross Sea, Antarctica. A fishing long-line boat known as San Aspiring came across the world's first intact adult male Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni - otherwise known as a colossal squid.
This enormous creature weighs a world record 450 kilos and is about 10 meters long. What's more, is that the next biggest creature ever found was 150 kilos lighter! At the time of its discovery, the squid was feasting on a hooked toothfish.
Graphical Colors
This is a beautiful photo taken in Michigan during the fall. It's one of the images you can stare at for hours, and although the geometrical images are simple when put together, they create a phenomenal and impressive piece.
We would love to go to that exact place and take a photograph from a different angle and see how we can play with the angles and colors. Alternatively, take the same photo, just in different seasons. The same, all coated in winter white, varnished in summer rays or sprinkled with all colors of the rainbow on a festive spring afternoon.
And Then There Was a Lake
Abraham Lake, also known as Lake Abraham, lies in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Now, although it is not a creation of nature and was artificially made, it has the most astonishing visions and presents its changing beauty all year round. It is considered the biggest artificial lake in all of Alberta region.
It has a glassy blue color to it and stands out from the surrounding landscapes. The lake is packed with methane ice bubbles that are locked away during the winter months. The place has become a must-see phenomenon when touring the place in any season of the year.
