Spaghetti Oh-No
It doesn’t take too long for us to realize that getting spaghetti all over your face, clothes, and the table is not a generational issue. It’s not just babies who struggle with this. Sure, this lady, as her younger self, was probably a much messier individual at an involuntary level.
But that didn’t stop her from enjoying her food and eating with a big smile on her face. And fast forward 25 years later, her vision has diminished a little, hence the glasses. But all in all, she still doesn’t care about the tomato sauce splattering all over the place.
A Day at the Park
Spring weekends and holidays are the best time to be outdoors with friends and family. Breathing in some fresh air, enjoying the trees, and appreciating mother nature can be quite rejuvenating. As kids, we don't fully appreciate the time we have to do that.
It's nice to know that this group of friends kept their tradition of exploring the parks even when they're all grown up and have more obligations. While the choice of clothing could have been a little closer to the original photo, we do have to commend the brother on the far left for his commitment to that unforgiving pose.
Halloween, Many Years (And Much Candy) After
Some of the best pictures to view years after they were taken are Halloween pictures like this one. In addition to reliving what was popular at the time, we can see how funny, and in some cases sad, our Halloween costumes were.
The three boys look cute in their Halloween costumes on the left, and although we give them credit for their costumes in the recreation on the right, they weren’t quite as cute in that photo. Halloween is a great way of knowing what was popular at the time. What movies, TV shows, musicians, and video games everyone knew then.
All for Onesie
What we love most about this childhood recreation photo is that the siblings today are not focusing too much on the fine details. In fact, they have modernized the attire a little and hit home the point that these days, 20-30-year-olds are still babies at heart. Look no further than the cherry onesies.
Onesies. We all wear them. They’re basically just baby pajamas for adults. We also appreciate that the girl in front is sucking her thumb. The brother next to her is still crying. The three at the back look pretty oblivious to what’s happening in front of them. Some things never change.
A Mini Adventure
There’s nothing quite like going out with your child. Every day feels like a new adventure with unlimited possibilities. That’s exactly how this happy dad felt when he took his son out on this cool three-wheel Honda bike back in 1986.
Fast forward to 2011, and the dad’s son is all grown up, albeit still wearing a blue windbreaker and beanie. And it looks like they are still embarking on adventures on the very same Honda 25 years later. Truth be told, though, the son doesn’t look as excited about the whole thing as he used to. His dad, on the other hand…
