Rub-a-Dub-Dub
It goes without saying – but for many families around the world, it is perfectly normal for a couple of siblings to share a bathtub together when they are very, very young. However, when you have grown into young adults, and all of the stuff that comes with puberty and whatnot, sharing a tub with your own flesh and blood is just kind of strange.
Nevertheless, this trio of brothers was very much committed to the bit of recreating this old childhood photo. It seems, though, that the brother holding the containers has lost his sense of humor over the years. Why so sad, bro?
The Roof of It All
OK, so this recreation might not be so long after the original, like other examples on this list. But still, it counts, and we’re all in for it. Fathers are here to show their kids how to do things. So are mothers. But for the sake of this photo, roll with us here.
This dad started training his boys early when he showed them how to… well, we actually don’t know what he’s trying to show them here. It’s something important. We just appreciate the commitment from everyone involved. Most notably the younger brother, who was desperate to get in on the action.
Too Close
If we’re going to take a guess, we assume that maybe these three aren’t even sisters. Maybe they’re just good school friends who stayed close throughout the years. And that makes sense because, in both photos, they are as close as you can possibly be.
They are literally glued to each other’s faces. Any closer, and we would guess that they are conjoined triplets! Well, they’re not; they just love having a good time together. In fact, they have been enjoying having a good time together for a long, long time. Having one friend is hard to come by, never mind two!
Family Photos That Survived History
Although this recreation looks pretty similar to the original, it is clear to see the location of the picture has changed quite a bit. Now that the Berlin Wall is no longer splitting East from West in Germany, it was a little difficult to be completely accurate in recreating this photo. Although the places from our childhood usually change for the worst, every now and then, they change for the better.
Everything else about this photo was recreated perfectly. From the jeans, jacket, and sneakers down to the hairstyle and pose. He and his family will definitely keep this for all days to come. These recreations don’t always bring back the best memories, but at least in the new-fangled version, there is the appearance of brighter days.
Some Things Never Change
It is a universally known truth that the firstborn child of a family is commonly more responsible than his/her younger counterpart. It's usually more important for them to do well in school, they care a lot more about pleasing their parents, and they are often charged with taking care of their little siblings as they grow older.
Something tells us this is the exact dynamic between these two brothers. The older brother's buttoned-down striped shirt and the expression of general confusion on the younger brother's face say it all. Good thing they have each other to maintain a nice balance.
