Marrying Dina Ruiz
After sowing some wild oats, having children, affairs, and dating around (sometimes simultaneously), Eastwood felt like it was finally the right time to settle down once again. This time, he had fallen head over heels for the news reporter Dina Ruiz. It turns out that she is 35 years his junior.
Ruiz and Eastwood first met at an interview in 1993 and it seems like sparks flew between them immediately. Just three years later, the couple agreed to “put a ring on it” and the rest, as they say, was history. Their wedding was held in Las Vegas on the Shadow Creek Golf Course. Their daughter, Morgan, was born three years later.
Breaking up With Frances
It appears that Clint Eastwood's difficulty in remaining faithful was what brought on the termination of his relationship with Frances Fisher when everything was said and done. Apparently, he was seeing Jacelyn Reeves secretly while still involved with Fisher, and the whole thing came to her knowledge. Clearly, this was going to take a turn for the worse.
In 1995, Clint and Frances put an end to their 14-year-long relationship. Fisher grieved over the relationship for two years before being able to move on. She has had no known relationships after this one. Because let's face it, nothing after Clint is going to be an upgrade, right?
Wait, Another Surprise Child?
In 1993, shortly before Francesca was born, a rumor surfaced, stating that Eastwood has a child he was unaware of — a woman from Washington who was looking for her biological parents and claimed that Eastwood was her father. In the years following the rumor, no concrete evidence emerged to confirm or refute the woman's claim.
The rumor, however, continued to circulate in the media, with some sources suggesting that the woman had taken a DNA test that showed a high probability of paternity, while others dismissed the claim as baseless. To this day, the alleged love child remains a mystery, and Eastwood has never publicly addressed the rumor or acknowledged the woman's claim.
More Screen Time
Dina Ruiz appeared in "Blood Work" and "True Crime," two of Eastwood's films, and then went on to star in a Kardashian-like reality TV show on E! network. The show was called "Mrs. Eastwood & Company" and it chronicled the day-to-day life of her, her daughter Morgan, and her stepdaughter, Francesca.
Clint Eastwood would make occasional appearances on the show from time to time, as did Jade Berti, Dina's sister-in-law and granddaughter of comedian Groucho Marx. It wasn't exactly the most enthralling reality TV show to ever come out, but hey, it's an Eastwood family, and we're all here for it.
Nothing Lasts Forever
When Ruiz came for an interview on the talk show "Chelsea Lately," she spoke about her relationship with Eastwood and made a remark on how Hollywood marriages tend to end in divorce. Little did she know, she was predicting her own future.
After being married for several years and having a child together, many thought this relationship was going to work. The two, however, separated after ten years of marriage. While the reasons for their breakup are a little unclear, it seemed that Eastwood was happy with the reality show documenting their life and it coincided with the breakdown in their marriage.
