Just as Jamie Lee Curtis entered Hollywood as the notorious scream queen, she developed a celebrity crush on the lead singer of Spinal Tap, Christopher Guest. At just 25 years old, she was flipping through an issue of Rolling Stone when a picture of Guest caught her attention.
Coincidentally her friend, who was a producer and writer in the industry, knew Guest’s agent and decided to take fate into her own hands. She got in touch with Guest’s agent, allowing Curtis to leave him her number. However, he never called. At the time the lead singer was receiving messages from several women a day and paid it no attention. Fate stepped in, however, and the two ran into each other at a restaurant, meeting in person for the first time. The guest called the following day to ask her out and they were married in 1984, just months after Curtis first spotted him in the magazine.
Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe (Lawyer)

Human rights lawyer Alexi Ashe’s sister once worked on the set of Saturday Night Live as a set designer and became close to some of the cast. When comedian Chris Kattan was getting married, Ashe accompanied her sister as her plus one. It’s here that she met comedian and talk show host, Seth Meyers.
According to Meyers, it was love at first sight. In an interview with Your Tango he admitted, "I had a sense that she was the closest I'd ever met to someone who I could see myself with. Pretty much right away." The pair immediately fell in love and were married in September of 2013. They almost didn’t make it down the aisle after a bout of food poisoning left the bride-to-be in the hospital. However, she pulled through for their big day.
Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery (Record Producer)

Ellen Pompeo met long-time fan and record producer Chris Ivery at a supermarket in Los Angeles in 2003, and have been inseparable ever since. After roughly six months of building a friendship, the pair took their relationship to a more romantic level.
Pompeo and Ivery dated for several years, and in 2007 they tied the knot. Ivery is still his wife’s biggest fan, but since he finds watching her love scenes awkward, he no longer tunes in to Grey’s Anatomy . They are still happily married and have three children together.

A-list Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, more popularly known as Mr. Perfectionist, met Kiran Rao during the filming of the movie Lagaan in 2001. Rao was an assistant director on set and a big fan of Khan’s, but the pair maintained a professional relationship until Khan divorced his then-wife.
While he was experiencing a rough time after the split, Rao called him to check-in. When they were done talking the actor recalled how happy he felt. Their love soon blossomed from there and the two were married just a few years later. They have one son together.

In 2007, veteran action movie star Bruce Willis met model Emma Heming at a local gym where they shared the same personal trainer. At the time, Willis had given up on love and was coming up on 10 years being single. “I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place,” Willis told W magazine. “I never thought that being with someone else was the answer."
Willis and Heming were friends for a bit first, but it took just one date for them to realize they’d found their other half. The duo got married two years later in Turks and Caicos, and then again in a civil ceremony to makes things legal in 2009. They have two daughters together in addition to the three daughters Willis has with his ex, Demi Moore.
