Tervis has become a staple of coastal life, their tumblers were initially sold by John C. Winslow from door to door as an alternative to single-use cups. Since 1946, Tervis has been making customizable tumblers insulated using a unique double-walled design that keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. Their drinkware selection is produced in America at a manufacturing facility in North Venice, Florida.
Tervis Drinkware has been privately owned for more than three generations. They are not only for the efficiency of their products but also for their impeccable design, timeless decorations, and of course, the All-America stamp.
Made in the USA: Heritage Bikes
Heritage General Store was the first company to make a completely Chicago-made bike since Schwinn relocated from the city in the '70s. All of their bicycles are not only constructed locally but also built by hand. The store also operates as a coffeehouse where guests can order an Americano before browsing a selection of vintage handmade bikes and related apparel.
The bikes have a significant uniqueness. They are practically custom-made according to the design specification and personal specifications. Made in the USA: Vermont Teddy Bears
As their name suggests, Vermont Teddy Bear makes all their stuffed animals in Vermont. Two of their factories make nearly a half-million teddy bears each year, making the company one of the largest teddy bear makers and the largest seller by mail and online orders. The stuffed ursine friends, which often begin at right around $40 apiece, are made with recycled cotton and sold with a lifetime guarantee.
Vermont Teddy Bears are the leading manufacturer that produces only handmade bears. They are known for their gift service, called Bear-Gram, that pioneered in 1990. They deliver personalized bears that come with a choice of over 100 costumes.
Made Overseas: Arrow Shirts
Arrow shirts have a legacy dating back to the mid-1800s, with roots in Chicago and New York. Now the company highlights those origins with a range of chic and popular shirts called Arrow USA 1851. But as with much of the clothing industry, the production process isn’t in the U.S. One label on the shirts may read Arrow USA 1851, but another label may state the shirt was made in China, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, or Kenya.
Over the years, Arrow Shirts became known as a men's shirt expert. They presented great innovations, such as shirts that were shrink-free and stain-free, and wrinkle-resistant.
