Grant did pretty well for himself, though. The bachelor started dating Natalie Getz, a winner of the popular TV show, Bachelor Pad. However, it was never clear whether the two were just dating, hanging out, or an actual couple.
Whatever it was, it ended after a few months, and after spending some time in LA, Matt went back to London and met Rebecca Moring, whom he married in 2017.
The Bachelor, Season 11: Brad Womack
Apart from his stunning looks, Brad Womack is a very successful American entrepreneur and bar owner. Unfortunately, he didn't have much luck on the show. Brad was the first guy in the show's history to not pick either of the two runner-ups! Both DeAnna and Jenni left season 11 empty-handed.
But our story doesn't end here. Womack came back for a second season of "The Bachelor", making him the first and only man to ever star as the titular bachelor twice. He had better luck the second time around and ended up engaged to Emily Maynard. However, the couple split some time after and Womack has been single and out of the spotlight ever since.
The Bachelor, Season 12: Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas
Grant was a British financier and business developer, and the first ever bachelor to be from outside North America. He chose Shayne Lamas, daughter of famous American soap opera actor, Lorenzo Lamas. Matt proposed to Shayne at the end of season 12, but the couple never married.
Matt and Shayne broke up just a few months after the show ended. Some say that Lamas was more interested in the fame and glory of celebrity life than she was in Matt. Guess the sexy British accent wasn't enough.
Now: Shayne Lamas
Shayne Lamas had a slightly rockier story after the end of "The Bachelor." Lamas had several run-ins with the law and was even arrested in 2009. She married American internet personality, Nik Richie, in 2010. The couple now has two gorgeous daughters.
As far as career goes, Shayne acted in a few movies, but never fully returned to the spotlight. After marrying Richie, the couple appeared on VH1's famous show, "Couples Therapy." Guess it hasn't been such smooth sailing for Lamas.
The Bachelor, Season 13: Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft
This was a season with a riveting twist. As it turns out, Jason Mesnick, an account executive from a Seattle suburb, managed to shock viewers on season 13's finale. Jason proposed to finalist, Melissa Rycroft, only to dump her on the 'After the Final Rose' special, for runner-up, Molly Malaney. Come on, dude. You don't do that, especially on national television!
Mesnick explained that he'd had a change of mind and he was really in love with Molly. That's fine, Jason, but next time make sure to make up your mind before you announce anything on national TV, don't you think? Molly Malaney decided to give him a chance, and the two got married!
