Steve McQueen
Steve McQueen was the King of Cool; there’s no other way around it. He was a total gearhead and did most of his own stunts. In “The Great Escape,” he rode a black modified TR6 Trophy. When it came time for the daring motorcycle jump, his insurance company said no way. McQueen did the stunt off-camera anyway, just for the fun of it.
McQueen was the unwritten face of Triumph. But he loved his 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross so much that he owned four, just in case. The actor also held a unique collection of original bikes from the early 1910s and 1920s.
Wyclef Jean
The “Haitian sensation” made an impression on his 43rd birthday posing with his brand-new patriotic Ducati. Wyclef Jean showcased the red, white, and blue motorcycle on Instagram, wearing nothing but a scarlet Speedo.
He also owned a totally outrageous Spiderman chopper bike. It’s an OC Choppers custom build that’s got ape hanger handlebars and a front end that stretches out on super-long extended forks. He sold his Spidey bike back to the shop, so if you want to see it, check it out at the OCC museum.
Jesse Metcalfe
"Desperate Housewives" actor Jesse Metcalfe is a Harley-Davidson man. His custom H-D Rocker looks sweet in candy apple red. Metcalfe kicked off his riding hobby in 2007 with the 2008 Rocker.
Customization includes an engine upgrade, drag bars, and a Heartland leather seat. A 2002 West Coast Chopper is another of his cruising options. He is also the proud owner of a vintage 1957 Triumph Thunderbird, fully restored and very classy.
Clark Gable
If you haven’t heard of Clark Gable, perhaps you’ll recognize one of the most famous Hollywood lines ever uttered on the silver screen: “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.” "Gone With the Wind" was just one of his major roles, and the heartthrob from the Golden Age of Hollywood was an early motorbike enthusiast.
He proudly rode his 1942 H-D Knuckle Head at breakneck speeds. He also owned a 1934 Harley-Davidson. Gable once remarked that out of all of the perks in Hollywood, riding his Harley was the best.
David Blaine
Illusionist David Blaine was most recently spotted in the skies of Arizona dangling from a colorful bunch of helium balloons. So, it’s no surprise the daredevil likes to travel by motorcycle.
The New Yorker owns a sleek BMW bike and has been seen cruising the streets of the Big Apple when he’s not performing extreme daredevil tricks.
