He’s Just Not That Into You
Drew Barrymore and Justin Long first met when working on the set of “He’s Just Not That Into You.” The two hit it off and dated during the filming, but couldn’t seem to manage their off-screen relationship and broke up shortly after.
That’s when fate (or Hollywood) brought them together again on the set of “Going the Distance,” in 2009. The couple didn’t last for long, and they broke up within months. When it’s not meant to be, it’s just not intended to be, huh?
Planet Terror
Rose McGowan and director Robert Rodriguez always had a stormy relationship. It began on the set of the movie "Planet Terror," while Rodriguez was still married but also committed to producer Elizabeth Avellán.
His marriage hit the rocks as his affair with the actress began. Their relationship was turbulent, and they struggled to stay together - fortunately, the couple called it quits.
The Godfather
While on the set of "The Godfather," Al Pacino and Diane Keaton fell madly in love. The couple was romantically involved in an on-again, off-again relationship during the ’70s and ’80s. Keaton wanted to settle down with the actor, but he wasn't ready yet.
They continued to find a way to work side-by-side though their relationship wasn't picture-perfect, which was a true testament to their professionalism and dedication as actors. After filming "The Godfather Part III," they parted ways for the last time.
The O.C.
This TV couple is one for the books! Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson first met when filming the show, "The O.C." when they were both starting their careers as actors. Their on-screen chemistry translated beautifully into an off-screen relationship.
Sadly, though their on-screen relationship ended in marriage, their real-life relationship ended a bit differently. They managed to remain on good terms, proving complicated breakups aren't always the answer, especially when you're working with your ex.
Gifted
Jenny Slate and Chris Evans met on the set of "Gifted" in 2015. Slate was married to Dean Fleischer-Camp at the time, but there was something about Slate and Evan's chemistry on-set that made them both curious to find out what it could mean off-set.
They became a couple, but by the time the movie premiered in 2017, they had already broken up. Though they knew they weren't mean to be, they gave it another shot but broke up once again in 2018.
