Whoopi Goldberg is a face that you see everywhere, and a name you would recognize anywhere, too. She’s a comedian, actress, author, talk show host, singer-songwriter, and political activist. As a side note, and many may not know this, but she has dyslexia and used to struggle with substance abuse. She fell into her big break when she landed the lead role in the movie, The Color Purple, which came out in 1985.
Another popular film of hers, called Ghost, where she played a psychic, came out in 1990. Today, you are able to see her regularly on the television show, The View, which tends to get pretty heated from time to time. In total, Goldberg has been nominated for roughly 80 awards and has won 50. What an accomplishment! All of them have led her to be worth $45 million.

The Simpsons is a show that we all have grown to know and love over the years, and it just so happens to be the longest-running show on American television. The creative mind behind the show? Matt Groening, who happens to be worth $600 million.
Thanks to the show, he has won twelve Emmy Awards and has even earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Presently, The Simpsons is on its 31st season and is obviously still a favorite among a lot of people.

We’re basically at the peak of net worths, with Larry David sitting at $800 million. In the beginning, he worked as a limo driver and clerk, while pursuing stand-up comedy in the evenings.
David wrote 62 out of 180 episodes of Seinfeld. Within those episodes, there was one, “The Contest”, for which he won an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
