Chef Rachel Hargrove may have announced her departure from “Below Deck” after she wrapped up season 10, but she’s not ready to say goodbye to crew life just yet! After three seasons on the show, Rachel bid adieu to the franchise, citing its unfair treatment of the cast as her primary reason for leaving.
Rachel is continuing her work as a yacht chef off-camera, currently working at the luxurious Twin Cays Private Islands in the Bahamas. We can only imagine the mouth-watering dishes she’s whipping up over there, and are certainly jealous of any charter guest that passes through her galley! It might seem unlikely, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for her return to our TV screens.
Captain Lee — Now
After a decade of entertaining charter guests and fans worldwide, the beloved Captain Lee announced his departure from "Below Deck" following season 10, citing health reasons. Captain Lee was the cornerstone of the show from its very beginning, and his departure certainly marked the end of an era for the yachting franchise.
With his dry wit and no-nonsense attitude, Captain Lee was the ultimate authority figure aboard his yachts, and the number one captain in all of our hearts. Although he will be missed, his health and well-being are of the utmost importance. We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors, and we will always remember his iconic one-liners and sage advice. Smooth sailing, Captain Lee!
Rachel Hargrove joined the "Below Deck" franchise as the chef for season 8, and her fiery personality immediately won over viewers. Her skills in the galley were unmatched, and her delicious and visually stunning dishes never failed to impress. Rachel was always entertaining to watch, whether she was creating a themed meal, clashing with her crewmates, or losing her mind over highly specific preference sheets.
After a dramatic departure mid-season (and a humbling, admirable return), season 9 showed a calmer, more composed side of Rachel — showing her range both as a chef and as a person. No matter what, she brought a refreshing energy to the show, and it's no surprise that she quickly became a fan favorite.
Izzy Wouters from Down Under joined the "Below Deck" crew for season eight, and boy, was she a breath of fresh air! Izzy started her season as a stewardess but found herself in the deckhand position after an injury forced Avery Russell to leave the boat. She took to the exterior team like a fish to water and proved to be a valuable asset to the crew no matter her position.
She was even promoted to lead deckhand mid-season! Not only did Izzy excel in her roles, but she also brought her Aussie charm and infectious personality to the show. She even came out to the world post-show, showing the power of vulnerability and connection, both on-screen and off.
Izzy Wouters — Now
Since her stint on "Below Deck," Izzy Wouters is still living her best life on the high seas as a yachtie. She's been keeping busy traveling around the world and capturing stunning photos with her camera. From sunsets over the water to dreamy mountain shots, Izzy's Instagram page is filled with mesmerizing images that are sure to inspire wanderlust in all of us.
But that's not all! When she's not snapping photos or charting new waters, Izzy still finds time to work on yachts, honing her skills as a seasoned deckhand and honoring her well-documented love of, well, making money. Yacht life may not be for everyone, but Izzy seems to have found her true calling!
