When people talk about stock-car royalty, the Earnhardt family is almost certainly the first name that comes to mind. It turns out that Dale Earnhardt Jr’s mind is mostly on the Washington Commanders. He’s said that if the team loses, it has a noticeable effect on his week, and during race season he has to try and keep his focus on his job driving laps.
He grew up dreaming of playing quarterback for his favorite team, but at the age of sixteen he was 5′ 3”. Nobody is getting onto a professional team with that kind of stature.
Los Angeles Rams: Jessica Alba
You might not think so, but it turns out that Jessica Alba is a pretty big Los Angeles Rams fan. This picture has her with her parents at what looks like a playoff game from the 2021 season, but there are lots of other pics of her repping her favorite team in jerseys, in hats, at games, and more.
Though she and her family did move around the country a lot while she was a kid, she was born in Pomona California. The fact that she had to spend so much time in hospitals for a long list of maladies might have given her time to watch football, too.
Washington Commanders: Jeffrey Wright
Acting since 1990 and appearing in big projects like “Casino Royale,” “The Hunger Games,” and “Westworld,” Jeffrey Wright is also a huge fan of the Washington Commanders. He's a major advocate, having been born in the city, and his social media is littered with posts about the team.
As we can see here, he was all in on Robert Griffin the third, even if that experiment didn't turn out the way most people hoped. The Commanders might be in a bit of a slump for a couple of reasons, but Wright will always be right there to cheer them on.
Washington Commanders: Taraji P. Henson
Taraji P. Henson has been collecting awards and accolades since she started acting (and singing) in 1992, including being the first African-American woman to win a Critic's Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. She's also a fan of the team from her hometown, the Washington Commanders.
Born in D.C., of course, Henson would latch on to the team that was closest if she decided to start rooting for a team. However, it's a little more personal than that. It turns out her father was a janitor for the team. That's a pretty good reason to keep rooting.
Los Angeles Rams: Magic Johnson
It's no surprise that an athlete that is such a big part of the Los Angeles scene (both literally and figuratively) is a fan of one of the city's football clubs. In fact, he was the first official person to make the purchase of season tickets when the Rams moved back to Los Angeles.
Despite growing up in Michigan, Johnson is all in when it comes to the Rams. He even takes his family along for the ride – in this picture, the Johnson family got to watch the Rams beat up the 49ers, something everybody can enjoy.
