While not as much of a household name as she was in the 70s and 80s, Jaclyn remains a figure in the entertainment industry and has starred in a number of small-screen movies and series. A tycoon in her own right, Jaclyn continues to control her fashion empire and has branched out into various other products such as furniture, linen, hygiene accessories, and even wigs.
Her annual turnover is estimated to reach one hundred million dollars. Domestic bliss seemed to be a trial and error exercise for Jaclyn; to date, she is now married to her fourth, and by all accounts, final husband.
Jaclyn Smith Then
At the age of twenty-nine, Jaclyn Smith catapulted into living rooms across America as Kelly Garrett, one-third of the Charlie’s Angel's triad. Jaclyn would prove to be one of the most popular cast members, and she kept her role for a full five seasons of the show, the only Angel to do so.
After "Charlie’s Angels" ended in the early 80s, Jaclyn continued to bolster her acting career and appeared in several movies, even earning an Emmy award in the process. She further embarked on fashion and fragrance enterprises, both of which proved to be highly successful businesses.
Kate Jackson Then
Kate Jackson was already a heavyweight in the television world when she was offered the role of Kelly in the original "Charlie’s Angels". Kate opted to assume the role of Sabrina instead. Her celebrity credentials gave marketing leverage to the series, and she found herself cast as the leader of the secret agent group.
Kate would play Sabrina Duncan for three out of the five seasons of "Charlie’s Angels." The name, "Charlie’s Angels", was actually coined by Kate during a meeting with producers Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg after Kate saw an image of three angels hanging in Spelling’s office.
Kate Jackon Now
Kate Jackson’s star shone brightly after her stint being a Charlie’s Angel. But, a number of health scares caused Kate to take small breaks throughout her film career. Not one to rest on her laurels, Kate went on to be nominated for several Golden Globe and Emmy awards and was a force behind and in front of the camera until 2009, when she retired from acting altogether.
Thrice divorced, Kate’s current relationship status is unknown. Kate announced an upcoming biography in 2011, but the release has been delayed for over a decade.
Farrah Fawcett Then
Arguably, the most recognizable of the "Charlie’s Angels" cast, Farrah Fawcett gained international stardom through her role as Jill Munroe. Farrah’s popularity on the show was undeniable, so it came as a shock when she canceled her contract after just one season, resulting in a significant legal tussle between the actress and the studio.
Farrah found herself being the symbol of the 70s, and a single photo, in which she dons a red swimsuit and flashes her famous pearly whites, saw sales of six million posters. Her royalties from the poster earned her more than her "Charlie’s Angels" salary!
