Here is the third installment of the series featuring the worst dresses, pants, shirts, and some items so horrible they don’t even have a name.
A (Bad) Vision in Blue
We don’t know what Kourtney was thinking, but it looks like she’s wearing part of a curtain. A very blue curtain. We can forgive the lack of chicness because it was back in 2011, and she wore it for the Teen Choice Awards, not the Oscars.
But we think this dress is a huge no-no since it’s basically a huge piece of baggy fabric that does nothing for her figure whatsoever.
A Greek Goddess Wrapped in…Plastic?
Ok, we know it’s not plastic, but it certainly looks like it. Kim was attending the Thierry Mugler exhibition, so she probably wanted to show off an eccentric piece. The shiny pearl-colored fabric we can maybe get over, but the golden breastplates — absolutely not.
To make matters worse, it seems Kim paired the breastplates with a golden waist cincher as well. And those golden shoes, please just take them off, Kim!
Is Dark Denim Back?
We haven’t seen this much denim since the 90s, especially not in a shorts and blouse (if you can even call that a blouse) combo. The blouse is another matter altogether, with those puffy sleeves that really don’t match the whole vibe of denim.
And what about those blue leather thigh boots? Although we’re not sure if they’re boots or leather leggings. The color is nice, but other than that, this outfit is just not working for you, Kimmy.
A Mismatch of Color
Kim looks like a wrong genie who came out of a fashion disaster bottle. The satin coral-colored skirt, the bright purple long-sleeved blouse with the stomach showing, and the turquoise shoes. It looked like Kim was picking out her outfit in the dark.
She was promoting her new perfume, but honestly, we doubt anybody could look away from her clothes. And would someone please tell us what that golden curtain rope is doing around her waist?!
Too Many Bows
Though we love that Kim chose a baby pink color for her gown while attending the Baby2Baby Gala, we think she overdid it with the bows.
The dress itself really compliments her figure, but a bow on the chest, a bow on the waist, and just a whole bunch of extra fabric that just seems wrapped around in a mess is not working for us. Love the hot pink shoes, though.
What’s With the Hole?
We love everything about this outfit – the jeans, the platinum bodysuit, the blonde-white hair, the turquoise nails. Everything BUT the huge hole in the middle of Kim’s bodysuit! The look would have been perfect had it not been for that incoherent lack of fabric in the middle of her stomach.
Also, we’re not sure about that alien-like silver jacket since it seems to look like she just covered herself up in layers of wrinkled aluminum foil.
The Curtain Dress
The only cute thing about Kourtney Kardashian in this photo is her smile. Sorry, Kourt, but that dress really isn’t working to your advantage. It looks like somebody draped her with a very blue and satiny curtain fabric.
The multiple layers on the skirt going in all directions, not to mention the different shades of blue, really isn’t a good look. But hey, at least she matched the stilettos with the bag.
Is That a Plastic Bag?
Considering this is Kim Kardashian we’re talking about, of course this dress has to be haute couture. But if we’re honest, it looks like someone wrapped Kim up in a very shiny, very large grey plastic bag. Everything is just too glossy and sleek. Even her hair looks like it was glued down.
We can’t even imagine how difficult it was to walk around in that all night. Then again, if anyone wants to recreate the look, they’ll be able to do it by visiting their local Home Depot store.
What Is She Wearing?
We get that the Met Gala is a place where celebrities want to stun viewers with their extraordinary outfits. But Kourtney, what were you wearing? It seems to be a bad mix between a black, stitched-over flamenco-style skirt, an 1800s girdle, and a white caterer’s blouse cut in half.
Assuming the skirt and the girdle are actually a one-piece long skirt, the two-color situation is simply not flattering here. The best thing about the outfit is the elegant black shoes.
An Apron Made of Diamonds
With no disrespect to the Lan Yu Couture design, we feel like if the diamond part of the dress was actually the entire outfit, it would have worked much better. The long fabric running down the middle of the cream-colored dress, although wonderfully sparkly, just looks a bit like a very fancy apron.
And those chain-like threads tying it over the dress like a spider — we have to give it a thumbs down.
The Purple and Gold Fiasco
Kim’s gown is a lovely dark purple color with a chic one-shoulder design and stylish fabric. And everything would have been perfect if that’s all the gown had, but some designers decided it would be a great idea to embed gold details in the most random places.
Kim looks like an explosion of fabric gone wrong, with shiny gold fabric over one breast, on one side of her hip, and on parts of her shoulder strap.
A Badly Wrapped Kourtney
We’re sure that Kourtney had everybody at the 2017 Grammy Gala turning heads, but not necessarily for the right reasons. Yes, the Kardashian sister does have a great body, but wrapping it up in black, partly sheer fabric that looks ripped in all the wrong places, isn’t the way to go.
The dress starts with a great shape in the cleavage area but quickly descends into a mess of strings and awkward shapes that have to make you wonder if her kids didn’t mistake the gown for an arts and crafts project.
Kimmy in Chains
We get that Kim and her daughter North West wanted to look eccentrically fashionable for Jean-Paul Gaultier’s fashion show, but the chains are a bit much. Kim’s huge metal neck choker looks like the knocking ring of a huge castle, and that chain connecting her nose ring to her choker and back to her…ear?
Too much, Kimmy. Let’s not forget the upper part of her dress that looks like she’s wearing a fake mannequin bra inside out.
A Very Trendy Traffic Cone
Some paparazzi spotted Kim walking about in Paris, but given how she dressed, it would have been better to hide from the cameras. We’re all for a sexy, chic camo tee shirt, but the neon, bright yellow pants that turn into shoes? Not at all. Kim looks like a traffic cone that needs a paint touch-up.
Leaving the colors and fabric pattern aside, what is this fascination Kimmy has with the pant-shoe suits? When did it become a bad thing to wear them separately?!
Is It a Dress or a Nightgown?
It seems that Kourtney was so busy back in 2010 that she forgot to get dressed for an event. Seriously, this gold little item that leaves nothing to the imagination looks more like a negligee than a formal dress.
Let’s not even mention the layered part of the “dress,” which shows two pieces of a different gold fabric sown on top of the garment. The shoes are the only thing that would pass a fashion police inspector, and we’re not even sure about those. Stilettos would have been much better.
A Wintery Nightmare
We appreciate the excruciatingly hard work it must have taken to design and create this fashion piece, but with all due respect to Givenchy, this looks like white sheer fabric with balls of worn-out Styrofoam glued on top.
While we love the bottom skirt, covered in little classy white pearls, the upper part looks like it belongs in the costume department of the Narnia films, not on the red carpet of an event.
Mamma Is in Pajamas
The matriarch of the Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner, is supposed to be the epitome of fashion. However, Kris showed up in what looked like a pajama suit to the 2022 NY Fashion Week. A very high-end Hermes pajama, of course, but a pajama nonetheless.
We love the small purse, though, and those black latex gloves go very well with the colors. She does look incredibly comfortable; we’ll give her that.
Is That a Leopard-Print Tablecloth?
Strutting down an Italian street on a lovely spring day is Kris Jenner dressed in her finest…tablecloth? We mean, that leopard print is great, but what, dear Kris, are those cream-colored tassels everywhere?!
It looks like a very chic and elegant tablecloth you would use at fun dinner parties, but as a dress, and paired with black flip-flops? We’re going to have to pass. Kris gets some points for those gorgeous earrings and cool sunglasses, though.
A Pink, Feathered Mess
Here is Kris attending her daughter Kourtney’s’ wedding to Blink-182 ex-drummer Travis Barker, In Italy. She looks like a very proud mother with that adorable smile. But for the love of everything that is holy in fashion, why wear a pink-feathered costume?
The pale pink gown would have been perfect if it was covered in some feathers, but not so many. The billowing sleeves just make it look like more of a fluffy bed cover.
A Little Too Shiny Out
Of every questionable fashion decision Kris has made over the years, this is definitely not the worst. In fact, we love those opaque black tights and chic black leather boots. As for the dress, the design is fine, but it’s a bit too golden and shiny.
Also, what is the deal with so many different fabric patterns? There are the straight lines, the hodge-podge turtle neck, the upper stomach area is covered by what looks like a series of gold coins. Too much of a mess.
How Many Rips?
Listen. We have no problem with these pants. We love velvet, and we would welcome it to any outfit. Damn, we even wish the sunnies were velvet-covered themselves. Our problem here is the top — if this is even considered a top. It looks more like a fabric scrap that was forced onto Kim's torso. It's asymmetrical, non-velvety, and all-around bizarre.
Not to mention the biggest fail - Kim's torso contouring that's meant to complement the top makes her look, well, bruised. That's a look nobody would want.
What the Flock?
Oh no! Looks like Kourtney robbed a flock of birds to make her skirt. The feathered skirt was kind of a thing for a very short period of time — but this time, it's just a bit too much. Then the dress gets even more complicated with a black leather waistband, a blue strapless top, and then a blue lace overlay that's long-sleeved. It's a bit too much for us.
Kourtney, however, does have great legs and can pull off this mini look. But just don't wear that dress again, please.
Twinning
In white tees, black bra overlays, and black satin skirts, these two look like twins! It almost looks like these two wore the same outfit to different events! It's honestly that close.
While Kim opted for a splash of red, Kourtney didn't, but that's about the only difference. Being caught wearing the same thing as your own sister is just a bad look!
What's Wrong With Her Face?
Maybe it's the lighting, maybe it's Kylie's Skin makeup application gone wrong, but man, there is something wrong with the face on Kylie's tee! Could be just a bit too much sun exposure or a really bad screen-printing job.
You can't really fault an oversized tee on anyone, but it's the exaggerated features of the face (and the fact that she's wearing herself as art) that just don't sit quite well with us.
What in the HAZMAT?
Seriously, if this doesn't look like a HAZMAT suit to you, we don't know what will! Sure, Kylie is sporting a rather deep V here, but the sleeves that turn into gloves make us think of the minions.
The color is actually pretty and suits her skin tone, but we're just not so sure about the design. It's certainly more high-fashion than some of the looks her older sisters were sporting at the same age, so she's just lucky she was a toddler when they were on the red carpet before her!
A Ruffled Nightmare
This honestly is maybe one of the worst we've seen from the Kardashian clan — and with some of the outfits we pulled out from the 2000s, that's really saying something.
It looks like Kris Jenner was at the Met Gala when she wore this outfit, and we're not quite sure what the theme was for that particular year. Anyway, the jumpsuit itself isn't too terrible, nor is it unflattering — but it's the exaggerated shoulders and ruffle train that kill the whole vibe.
PVC Boots
A real statement, PVC heels were (and still are) trending for a while, but we haven't seen too many pairs of high-heeled PVC boots. But for Kim Kardashian, PVC is a lifestyle (almost). She will take the clear shoe trend to new heights — literally.
With the denim jacket, mini skirt, and mesh bustier, the outfit kinda works, but those boots…we can only imagine how sweaty her feet got in that PVC. Imagine the sound...
A Hat or a Wig?
This isn't the only entry with a cow print on it, so you can already assume what we think about these furry boots. The brown coat that functions as a dress? We don't get it. But the most peculiar part is the hat that looks like a blonde, curly-haired wig.
Kylie Jenner has certainly gone through a style evolution over the years, and we hope she won't be caught in something like this ever again!
Pantyhose Are in Season!
Remember this look? We suppose it definitely got a gasp or two for its shock value. But is it classy, fashionable, or stylish? Not in our books.
While Kim looks a decent blonde (with the right hairstylist and lots of money, anything is possible), we do prefer her dark locks. The black leather bandeau, long black trench coat, and PVC shoes can't save the pantyhose capris she's sporting on her bottom half. We definitely wouldn't go out in this.
What About Pants?
Celebrities usually try to avoid being captured by the paparazzi, and a great way of doing that is wearing dark colors and trying to cover up as much of yourself as possible. We're not sure what Kourtney was going through at the time, but it seems like she has forgotten these basic rules, as she is sporting the shinest dress we have ever seen.
It just looks as if she took her partner's button-down shirt, cut a hole in the middle, and put it on. We can't say we're fans of this look.
Common Blue
There's not a lot to say about this royal blue short dress, except that it ended up making Khloé look pretty common. The hair and makeup are not that bad if you ignore the fact they just scream early 00s.
Our main problem is with the fabric, which looks incredibly cheap. It looks like something you'd order from SHEIN late at night, and when it arrives, you regret ever spending money on it, even though it was just a few dollars. This just isn't a look for a Kardashian.
Good Night
Is there a chance Kourtney was planning to stay in and hit the bed early when all of a sudden she remembered there was an event she had to attend? Otherwise, why is she wearing what seems like a silk nightdress, complete with black lace both at the top and bottom of the garment?
This look isn't bad per se; it just seems... inappropriate? Not that the Kardashians are big on appropriateness, but still, we expected a bit more from Kourtney.
A Golden Nightmare
Some of the Kardashian fashion fails can be forgiven, as, let's face it, we all made questionable style choices in the early 00s. People wore jeans to the red carpet, for heaven's sake. It was a weird time. But this dress is just inexcusable, no matter which decade it was worn in.
The shape of the gown itself flatters Khloé but the pattern and golden sash sewn down the dress? We'd like to sue the designer and the stylist.
Racing to the Bottom
We bet you'd be surprised to hear this isn't a Halloween look, and this is just what Kylie Jenner chose to wear for an Adidas Launch in 2018. We really can't get over the fact it looks like a store-bought seductive race-driver costume.
All of the zippers don't really help to elevate this outfit. This dress should be thrown away, hopefully, as fast as possible.
Facing the Facts
Let's face the facts. This dress is so bizarre it just makes us want to look away. Yet, like with a gruesome car accident, we simply can't take our eyes off of it. On September 26th, 2021, Khloé attended an event called the SHEIN look challenge in California.
Looking at this garment, you'd think maybe she was trying to style something she got on SHEIN, but she was actually one of the judges. Basically, she wore this creepy dress out of her own free will.
Rethink Pink
Kris Jenner was staying at a hotel with her boyfriend and talent manager, Corey Gamble. When they decided to head out, she was spotted wearing this shimmery hot pink suit.
We understand that celebrities sometimes have premiers to attend where they want to be able to be spotted from a mile away, but surely they don't have to wear something that draws so much attention when they are just going out to dinner. The suit is well constructed, but the color is just too much for us, or for anyone for that matter.
Snot-Colored Jumpsuit
At this point, we are not even sure what we're looking at, to be honest. Kim wore this bizarre ensemble to a Prada Fashion show in 2022. The show was held in one of the capitals of fashion — Milan.
Yet Kim decided to wear a snot-colored jumpsuit made out of some type of leather. We're sure this was both stupidly and stupendously expensive, but maybe her money would have been better spent elsewhere.
Safety Blanket
Walking the red carpet must be a pretty overwhelming experience. With both photographers and interviewers fighting to get the star's attention, we totally understand why Kris decided to bring her safety blanket with her to The Fashion Awards ceremony that was held in London, England.
Maybe she should have left it at the hotel, though? Or at least take it off before stepping on the carpet? Who knows, maybe the suit she's wearing underneath is beautiful, but we'll never get to know.
A Botched Outfit
Many use Fashion Week in order to test out and show off their most outrageous, fashion-forward looks. So, is it possible that the future of fashion is in... baggy blue gloves?
We heard that Kim is planning on being a lawyer, but we had no idea she wants to be a surgeon as well. Honestly, we suggest she'd stick to the rules and laws of fashion next time, as this is one botched outfit.
A Leopard Can't Change Its Spots
If you have been following The Kardashian/Jenner clan for a long time, you'd know that they all love to wear animal prints, especially leopard. The leopard print is what we'd call a hated classic. Many fashionistas feel like wearing it is an unforgivable sin, but the Kardashians don't like to follow the rules.
Leopards look great in their skin, but we humans... not so much. Not to mention the wear she's wearing her purse on her waist.
Dressed, More or Less
There's no way Khloé would have been caught in this dress today. If it is actually a dress, we mean, because it almost looks like a shirt, we can't really tell. She seems to really be feeling herself in this picture but we have a feeling she would die of embarrassment if she saw this today.
We wonder if this is a designer outfit or if it was off the rack, but no matter who's responsible, she deserves her money back.
Unflattering Shades of Gray and Blue
We like the colors, and we like the way Kim's hair matches the gray and blue tones of her outfits. We are also totally for making sure your outfits are balanced, with one baggy piece and tights clothes to show off your figure. The thing is, we feel like this might be a bit too tight? Could it be that, like many times before, she has forgotten to wear pants?
Because to us, what she's wearing looks more like pantyhose. Did she lose her skirt somewhere?
Channeling Peggy Bundy
This is a great Halloween costume of the iconic Peggy Bundy, the wife of Al Bundy in the show "Married... With Children." Sadly, Kim didn't wear this to scare the children on Halloween, but to some type of event that didn't have a red carpet but a... multi-colored carpet.
The earrings are huge, as is her necklace. These accessories should not be worn together. But the worst part is the shirt, pants, and heels — There's no way thems items weren't taken from Katey Sagal's wardrobe.
Don't Do Dots
The easiest route to a fashion fail is forgetting that most times, less is more. If you think that more is more and you pack on different trends, you're just gonna end up looking like a hot mess, like Kris in this picture.
Not only is she wearing a sheer tunic with polka dots that are just way too big, but her undershirt also has polka dots. This creates an optical illusion, but not a flattering one. It just makes us feel like we forgot to put our glasses on.
Yellow Is the New Black
Was Kylie inspired by the popular TV show "Orange is the New Black"? Or maybe she just stopped by Paris Fashion week on way to community service?
Is she hiding a spectacular outfit underneath this baggy? And most importantly, as this was a Louis Vuitton Fashion show, what did the designer think of this? We personally are surprised anyone would wear something like this out of their own free will, and not because they were court-ordered.
A Family That Fails Together...
We've never heard anyone who says that a family who fails together stays together, but maybe they should? We all know that going through something rough together can really help people get closer.
Kim's dress isn't THAT bad, but the rest of them? Khloé seems to be wearing an embellished tent, Kourtney's belt is too big for her own good, and Kris's dress is just too much for us to handle.
Out Eating
We are enjoying that tiny little Lous Vuitton handbag that is shaped like a toolbox. Do you think she's got a hammer and wrench in there? Be frank with us; when and where would you wear this ensemble? Can't think of anything in your calendar that would be suitable for this? Neither can we.
Apparently, Kylie wore this when eating in a California restaurant called "The Nice Guy." Maybe she wanted to look like a baddie to balance out the name of this place? Anyway, this is not the type of thing we'd wear when eating.
The Early Aughts
The nice thing about the early aughts is that it has such a recognizable, distinct, horrible style that we can always tell when a look was styled in the era. This pic, if you had any doubts, was taken in 2006.
This was a time when people just wore jeans to premieres and usually styled them with the most hideous top they could find. Kim added her own twist to the horrendous top trend with some type of fur scarf. We are so happy the aughts are over.
Joining the Army?
Kylie Jenner just loves to keep people guessing. Not only did she hide her pregnancy with baby Stormi from the media, but a few months after she gave birth to her, she was spotted sporting this olive jumpsuit.
This almost looks like something that would be comfortable to wear after giving birth, but knowing Kylie, we bet there's nothing comfy about this outfit. Not to mention she looks like she's about to join the army.
Hatching
Kim looks like she has hatched out of her boots. We mean pants. No, we mean boots.
Whatever it is, Kim looks like she just hatched out of it and is not yet ready to face the world, which explains the sunglass at night as well as the hoodie over her head. We hope she gets through this awkward stage and emerges as the beautiful butterfly we know she could be.
Elvis Look-Alike
Looking at Kris's hairstyle here, we can't help but think about Elvis. Was she on the way to an Elvis look-alike competition? We feel like a slight change of outfit, she could have won.
But alas, she didn't commit to the whole Elvis Presley look but instead opted for a dotted jacket that hides her figure. The high collar isn't helping, nor is the fact that her partner's hair looks better than hers!
A Mermaid Out of Water
Looking like a business-oriented mermaid who was sadly caught in a fisherman's sparkly net? Honestly, we dig it! The fail is that there's just no way this outfit is practical for the parent of a small child.
Think of poor Stormi trying to grab her mom's leg. We applaud Kylie for being able to carry her daughter in this outfit while wearing heels, but there is just no way we could keep up with this Kardashian.
Matrix Reloaded
This would have worked great for the premiere of any Matrix flick, but otherwise, it's a bit too futuristic for us. Kim wore this for the People's Choice Awards. The ceremony was held in December 2021, so at least she was warm.
Maybe she was trying to cosplay as a superhero? If superman wears his underwear on top of his clothes, Kim can wear her bra on top of hers as well. This is a great way to call for equality between men and women!
Forgettable at Best
These three attended the 2008 Monte Carlo Television Festival in order to promote their now beloved Reality show — "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." Considering the fact that they were there to promote themselves, we are underwhelmed with these looks.
As usual, Kim's dress is the least terrible out of the three, though we are not keen on this muted yellow. Of course, the color of the dress that Kris is wearing is much worse. All of these looks are forgettable at best.
Criminally Late
Even if this was worn as a joke, which we are not sure it was, this is just unforgivable. This was a look Khloé was caught wearing a few days after Halloween.
Let's count Khloé's crimes here: trying to pass as if she's wearing a costume when she really isn't and also wearing it after the holiday's already over. She was late, but not fashionably at all. We hope she will put more effort in next time.
Leave Them Snakes Alone!
Kendall and Kylie were attending some kind of bizarre celebrity event held by Bumble. Titled "Winter Bumbleland," the event took place in California, and the special surprise was... Fake snow!
These outfits don't scream winter to us. In fact, these look like something people would wear at Coachella. Kendall's outfit makes zero sense, while Kylie's reminds us why we hate snakes.
Going Camping?
Here's a question, if Kris is on the red carpet and not going camping, why is she wearing a tent? We don't have an answer as well; we're as clueless as you are. Kris wore this for her daughter's birthday in 2009. Maybe she wanted to make sure she won't outshine Khloé on her special day? Otherwise, why would she put this thing on?
We have a feeling Kris doesn't like camping, but that doesn't mean she should hunt innocent tents and use them as dresses.
Another Day, Another Tiger
Imagine this; you are invited to an after-party hosted by Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom. What would you wear? Going with a print that resembles some type of tiger or leopard would probably be the best way to impress the Kardashians.
As you can see here, Kim just loves wearing animal prints, and she won't listen to anyone who tells her they're not that tasteful. This was in 2011, and we think she was already experienced enough to know better than to wear this.
Just Say No to Asymmetrical Clothes
For Kim's 2011 birthday party, Khloé Kardashian chose this tight royal blue dress with an art nouveau-inspired print in green and red. The three colors clash and create a cheap look. Not to mention the dress is asymmetrical which is a fashion trend no one has ever gotten right.
Seriously, have you ever seen anyone looking good in an asymmetrical garment? Neither have we. This one should have been left in the closet and never seen the light of day.
Noughties Denim!
First up, we had to start with denim right? Also, this was the pink carpet for a Tori Spelling event and early-ish in Kim's budding career. But we have to say, jeans on any carpet where you're photographed are only okay in an ironic way.
For a Halloween dress-up party, maybe. But those bootcut jeans should stay away from the carpet. Not to mention that awful beige wrap top. Nice hoops, though.
A Family Photo of Fashion Fails
The whole gang is in this photo! We are gobsmacked at how different the Kardashians all look. The only one who looks the same is Rob. Sorry Kardashians, but either that's amazing makeup and hairstyling or some other type of magical procedure.
Anyway, we don't even know where to begin - is it Kourtney's gold tank top and grey leggings? Maybe Kim's beach cover-up, or is it Kylie's bra top over a long pink tank top? The best dressed in this photo is definitely Khloé, and we aren't picking favorites!
Bumblebee Is in Town!
Okay, our main problem with this outfit (and by no means are we the fashion police) is that this choice of top and bottom is just a tad unflattering on Kim. When you've got curves like her, you want to show them off.
This outfit gives her no shape - and while yellow is in season for the fashion houses, with this leather mini, it's not doing her justice! Dress for your body type! That message is applicable to ANYONE.
Oh, Kim, What Do We Have Here?
Dear dear, this outfit is…really taking us back a few years. The vest and white tank top paired with bootcut jeans are giving us naughty vibes.
We experienced them; we lived them; we don't want to go back. So let's just accept that Kim probably shouldn't have worn this and move on. The image is almost burnt into our brains just writing this…
Fashion Meets…Activewear?
So sure, activewear is basically all celebrities wear these days - or rather, athleisure wear - the mix between athletic and loungewear. But this outfit is just…well, we're sure you have your own opinions too.
The lingerie corset tucked into some snap-button track pants with fishnet tights underneath… It doesn't strike us as very comfortable at all. It also doesn't look good enough to be uncomfortable.
Sunglasses and a Bag for the Red Carpet
We're pretty sure these days, Kim doesn't need to carry a handbag on the red carpet - she probably doesn't even take her own selfies anymore. But let's go back a fair few years and just take this outfit in.
A very non-sleek ponytail (which you'd never ever see these days), a handbag, sunglasses, a MASSIVE belt, and leggings under some sort of dress top that might be designer, but we probably wouldn't even use it as a bed for our pet. Harsh? Or just enough?
Lace and Velvet?
Sure, these two fabrics don't sound bad, but when combined in this configuration, we have a few questions for Kim and her stylist.
Maybe it's the fact that the ribbed knit skirt looks like it's for the office - and then the see-through white lace seems like something you'd wear for a night out, or in! This look isn't her worst, but it's certainly not one of her best. Her hair looks good, though, and her makeup is well-blended!
Alligator Skin
This is definitely what you wear when Jay-Z releases something new — kinda looks like something out of a bad western or maybe some sort of post-apocalyptic film.
Right? The low braided (is that alligator?) belt is a cry for help against the beige…jersey sack. We're really not sure what this is. Don't forget the boots that match the handbag! We wonder what Beyoncé thought!
Hot Pink Isn't Hot
Okay, this is just uncomfortable to watch. Sometimes a good outfit can be ruined by a bad color, but in this case, we can't really say the look was good to begin with. Where do we even start? The feathers? The fact the boots are a part of her pink onesie?
Could she even go to the bathroom in this? We hope this was for some type of festival or costume party; otherwise, it's inexcusable.
No Brows, No Worries!
Have you ever wondered what Kim Kardashian looked like without eyebrows? We didn't. But she still decided to show us.
This makeup look has us desperately looking for some makeup remover and an eyebrow pencil. Please, Kim, never ever remove your eyebrows. Even if it's for a makeup look. While her dress is pretty impressive and probably very expensive (not to mention the diamonds on her ears), the makeup needs to be changed. Keep the eyebrows on, please.
Got Milk?
A fur coat? Sounds perfect for a winter's day spent somewhere where you have to run away from fans and paparazzi! This kind of outerwear can make or break a look. It can elevate it or cheapen it. Cow prints were never a great fashion choice, but a cow print on a fur coat is a whole new level of poor taste.
Not to mention that the outfit underneath isn't the most flattering one or expensive-looking either. Hey, when you're as wealthy as she is, does it even matter why you wear what you wear anymore?
Victoria's Secret Pink Carpet
Hmm... This is definitely a lot less risqué than we'd imagine Kim would wear to Victoria's Secret pink carpet.
Sure she's got a fancy bag and Louboutins, but we're not sure how we feel about the leather leggings and spandex tunic with awkward flowy sleeves. Chic ponytail, but that about wraps it up for us on this look! We bet Kim is happy the 2000s are over because fashion used to be terrible back then.
Acid Wash Belongs Where?
Not on a highly photographed celebrity, that's for sure. Acid-wash jeans are just…well…they shouldn't be on Kim anymore.
They can kind of work at home, but that's about it. She tried to save it with a slick hairdo and black sunglasses, but it was really a very poor effort. We're not huge fans, not to mention we find the colors mismatching a little bit.
Kris Is Coming
We're positive that the famous "momager" has a wardrobe that would make any person gasp — at the brands, the sheer multitude of clothing, or the amazingness of her closet! But hey, we're not sure where she pulled this outfit from.
We get the black bodycon; we get the lace, but why horizontal AND vertical strips of lace? Guess we'll never know what she was thinking, but we hope she got rid of it soon after she wore it.
Did Sesame Street Call?
Now that's a shade of buttercup yellow that we never thought we'd see on knitted fabric worn by Kim Kardashian. One from the archives here, we see Kim in her favorite bootcut jeans and a more fitted knitted top with some matching yellow wedges!
Maybe it's the knit and the jeans, maybe it's the cork shoes…but we just… it's not appropriate for the red carpet. It's amazing there was a time when it was okay to wear jeans on the red carpet.
It's Supposed to Be Adi-Yas, Right?
Normally seeing celebs in athletic wear is like "yeeesss," but this time the way that Kim decided to pair her Adidas sports jacket with a black slip dress is definitely a no for us. Add on a fluffy cardigan, and…well, that's the look.
Just stick to the whole tracksuit and don't worry about trying to make it fashionable — it's a statement already just by you wearing it, Kim!
Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover!
So the old saying goes, and this time we're judging it by the back cover! While we're not upset at the black and white Kim is sporting here, we are a little concerned about how the dress looks from the back.
We know Kim is quite proud of her behind, but this just looks like they ran out of fabric, so they had to improvise something. We hope that she's learned from the paparazzi pics snapped of her that this isn't a great look.
Face-off
Which face do we like better? The face Kim's got or the face plastered on her jacket, with the word "chill" painted on it? It's kinda creepy. You know how a doll stares at you, and then you look back to check if it moved? Just us? Okay.
Anyway, we probably wouldn't wear socks with our faces on them, let alone a jacket. It's a big statement. But when you think that highly of yourself, anything goes, right?
What Is…This?
We're a bit confused at this Nickelodeon red carpet moment for Kim K. Sure, 90% of her outfit is the same color — a very pale grey, but we are not too sure about the white things poking out the top of her strapless dress. The oversized belt doesn't do it for us, either.
Let's just be thankful that this outfit is all the same color and not different ones. That would've been a whole different mess altogether!
A Pop of Color!
Kim is usually photographed these days in beige, nude, white, or all-black, so this is a rare throwback to when she wore a bit more color! The satin fabric has a multicolored print over it, and then it is split up by a black high-waisted skirt.
This isn't Kim's worst moment, nor is it a fashion faux pas. If anything, this is more a sign of a time that had a different personal style!
A Shock of Pink
Okay, so now we mostly see Kim only wearing very tonal, simple colors. But we should add hot pink to the mix! With a sleek bob haircut and visor sunglasses that basically obscure half her face, Kim is looking very er…Power Ranger-y?
Some type of video game character? You may think this is a fashion fail, but…we think she kinda pulls it off. It's hard to decide, though.
Adidas and Kim: A Love Story
There really is something with Kim and Adidas, isn't there? Here, she brings out the black lacy slip dress (cue: sleep dress) and pairs it with an Adidas sports jacket.
Black sunglasses make an appearance, and a high, messy bun. She then makes it "classy" by adding a diamond choker. Why? Because she could. Don't hate it, don't love it. But at least it looks expensive; we can't say that about some of the other looks on this list.
Vacation Whites
Kim used to be the queen of wearing white before she turned to muted beiges, browns, and classic blacks. This combo of an off-the-shoulder white top with flow sleeves and white leggings is the perfect example of her old style.
She even went with clear shoes to really keep your focus on the white. But honestly, we much prefer her daughter's outfit, or even Kanye's, even if his jeans are slashed three too many times.
Blonde Kimmy Strikes!
Aaaand she's back — in all black, but…you kind of lose the black effect when you're covered in white fluff. She topped it off with a black baseball cap. This look is worsened when you realize her security guard is the best-dressed person in this photo.
Maybe it's the bright white or the glare of the paparazzi camera flashes, but this outfit was just not a good choice, and we think she knew it too.
Satin All Over
This color is actually quite gorgeous — a deep, rich green — and in the stretch satin, it looks pretty grand actually. There's just something about the cut and the choice to pair it with a white handbag.
Maybe these were the days when Kim just arrived at events and didn't have an entourage to carry her stuff. Her hair looks very glossy, but the accessories ruin the outfit!
Denim Woes
This time, the denim got tucked into the boots, which is a slight improvement, but the rest is…why is her bag matching her top half? Literally, it looks like she wanted another version of her handbag plastered on her body.
Not cute. Maybe it was cool in 2004? Also, you can see from this photo that the makeup artist she pays nowadays does a much better job accentuating her eyes and face! But hey, good to see a before and after, right?
Nighty Night?
Kris got one thing right; it is nighttime! Don't minimize this achievement - understanding what's appropriate to wear at each time of the day is a big step for a Kardashian. There's just one thing she got wrong - she's going out, not staying in. This isn't the right time to rock your robe.
Yes, this robe is probably more expensive than anything we own combined, still, put on real clothes next time.
Soccer Mom
Sure, the whole 2000s were a bit of a fashion fail, and still, this look is truly shocking to us.
The silky top and tapered jeans with heels, handbag, and cardigan well…it just screams "soccer mom." Not that there's anything wrong with being a soccer mom! It's just, well…not an outfit you'd expect to see on a multi-millionaire.
Kendall Can Do No Wrong?
Wrong! We are very confused about Kendall's outfit. The now-supermodel, who can usually do no wrong when it comes to her 90s fits and Y2 K-inspired outfits, seems a little top-heavy in this pic.
Maybe it's the fleece and velour and corduroy all mashed together, or maybe it's the extreme bling she's got hanging around her neck. By the time you get to the top of her head, you wonder what is hiding under her hat.
Pregnancy in Balmain
We're pretty certain this is a Balmain fit, but man…we wish she wore something a bit different. Sure, her pregnancy body is great, but this outfit is probably one of the most unflattering ones that we've ever seen her in.
Maybe it's the color and the fabric, but we just want to skip to the next one. We are also shocked to see her wearing heels with that belly!
Satin and Peeptoes
Okay, this dress shape is actually pretty flattering — it's a nice empire line with a deep V, which accentuates Kim's beautiful body shape.
The color is actually pleasant, but we're a little unsure about the pumps and the details on the dress. Also, maybe matching your eyeshadow color to your dress isn't always the best idea?
What in the Cutout?
Yeah…so what in hell is this, you may ask. We are 100% behind you on your question because we really want some answers.
It's kind of gone past the point of provocative and into the point of... almost naked? Sure, she has a skirt that's intact, but the bodice makes us wonder if she really just wanted to go topless. Look, it's Thierry Mugler, and that's the vibe. But it is just a bit much for us.
Four Finger Scandal
This was the outfit Khloé was in when her Instagram post went viral - and not for good reasons. The image had apparently been edited, so she looked like she had fourteen fingers.
Crazy, right? Anyway, she's having a Diana Ross moment here, and we're not sure how we feel about it. It looks more like the dress and hair are wearing her, rather than her wearing them.
Canadian Tuxedo
Kylie Jenner began making her own headlines later than her older sisters, but she caught up pretty quickly. Here she's papped wearing the Canadian tuxedo — or double denim.
We actually don't hate this outfit, but we know some of y'all absolutely cannot stand denim on denim! Sleek black hair and muted makeup are probably good with this outfit because there's so much going on with the fit. What do y'all think? Did you see that belt?
Bandage Material?
Okay, this photo just looks strange. The proportions are all wrong. It makes her look like a lollipop! We also shudder to think about how this looks from the back. We think Kim was pregnant at this point - we spy a bump.
This is probably better than some other fits, but we wouldn't give this outfit a high score. Also, in this pic, she kinda looks a bit like Victoria Beckham. Do y'all see it too? Maybe it's the bangs!
A Power Suit?
Oh, Kourtney, love... (See what we did there?) Honestly, Kourtney rarely does it wrong, but this time we are a little concerned. Brown, skin-tight leather from head to toe is a bit much.
We do enjoy the boots and are very thankful they are not brown as well. The shoulder pads do make her look like she's from the future, but honestly, if that's our future, we don't want to see it!
Sequins Above All
This sequin leotard looks as if it melted, and it's now dripping all over Kim's legs. It's a look, but is it a good one? Well, for us, it's a hard no, but we bet Kim couldn't tell either way, as she is, again, wearing sunglasses at night.
We hope she's at least going out clubbing in this outfit, but knowing the Kardashians, there's a great chance she's just going to the grocery store.
Khloé’s Neon Pink Faux Pas
Neon pink isn't really a color you'd walk out in every day, even if you're a celebrity. Unless you are Khloé Kardashian...
The famous sister was snapped in a jumpsuit with a harem pant style and some shallow sleeves. The small white belt cinches in her waist nicely, though. Thankfully for you, you can't see the shoes paired with this look as they are off-frame. It's a pair of black peep-toes that just kind of cut off her body from the ankles. Lucky for her, she's tall enough to sort of pull it off.
Kris Jenner's Mesh Moment
Okay, from the front, this doesn't look too bad. But shame on Kris Jenner's stylist for choosing a white slip under the orange and brown mesh dress and not a nude or black one.
From the back, we can see the whole slip! Also, sunglasses at night are, er…probably for the paparazzi and their cameras flashing, right? Guess we've never had that, so it's only if you're in the know.
Khloé Gone Wild
At the Teen Choice Awards in 2011, Khloé went all wild in a black and grey leopard print number. This look is glamorous, sure, but something about it doesn't look very chic. We feel like the hair isn't helping.
