Hyundai Prophecy Concept
Estimated cost: $40,000
As the name implies, this is a concept car. The shape could likely dictate the future of battery-electric production. What is most notable is that Hyundai’s designers have made a real effort to maximize its range by minimizing the aero drag.
The interior will also be updated to reflect the contemporary design style. Don’t fret, you can still expect some familiar elements.
Cadillac Celestiq
Estimated cost: $200,000
The massive four-door, four-passenger, the electric vehicle has some big wheels and a hatch in place of a trunk. Expect this hand-built tourer to have plenty of backseat space and a tinted glass roof for extra privacy.
Each sedan will have plenty of design details such as embedded flower petals. It's going to be quite a pretty car, indeed.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Estimated cost:$95,000
This S-Class has been given the code-name "W223" and is a total redesign of the flagship sedan. Elegant as ever and with a more stylish C-pillar, the new exterior is quite a sight. Enjoy the new digital lights and a flashier grille. That's not all. The interior contains an extremely present digital dash equipped with two screens, one horizontal one in front of the drive (it resembles the screen in the current S-Class), and a vertical one that extends beyond the center console.
Powertrains will include the 3.0-liter straight-six and the AMG-developed 4.0-liter V-8—both including a 48-volt light hybrid system.
Subaru WRX
Estimated cost: $30,000
This high-performance sedan has some serious new underpinnings and a reshaped bodywork. Key staple features have been maintained in the new version with things like standard all-wheel drive and a powerful turbocharged flat-four engine.
The current 268-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder will be replaced for a more powerful and larger 2.4-liter unit, too.
Toyota GR86
Estimated cost: $30,000
Expect big changes for Toyota. This edition will be the product of co-developed Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ. The 2.4-liter turbocharged unit that makes 260 hp and 277 lb-ft in the Subaru Ascent will certainly outdo the current Toyobaru.
Toyota is presumed to provide the underpinnings for the new coupes, and will likely be a variant of the automaker's modular TNGA platform.
